While this preserves information, it often reduces contrast and flattens images, sacrificing the very tonal qualities that bring photographs to life. Hasselblad engineers recognised that mastering highlight rendition demanded an entirely different approach.

Through three years of intensive development, our engineers created HNCS HDR—a breakthrough solution that enhances Hasselblad's signature natural colours and tones with the expanded possibilities of high dynamic range, while maintaining the authentic Hasselblad colour science photographers trust.

100-Megapixel CMOS Sensor Excellence

The X2D II 100C's enhanced 100-megapixel medium format BSI CMOS sensor embodies Hasselblad's unwavering commitment to uncompromising image quality. With 16-bit colour depth delivering approximately 281 trillion colours, it captures the subtle gradations that bring photographs to life. 3.6-inch OLED Two-Way Tilt Touchscreen

The expansive 3.6-inch OLED touchscreen features vivid HDR visuals and up to 1400-nit peak brightness for true-to-life clarity in any lighting condition. The versatile screen tilts up 90° and down to approximately 43°, and can be pulled out to stay clear of the viewfinder for maximum shooting flexibility.

5-Axis, 10-Stop Stabilisation

Stabilisation performance is now up to 8 times that of the X2D 100C when capturing distant subjects. The advanced 5-axis, 10-stop IBIS system lets you shoot handheld for several seconds and still capture crisp, clear images. Long exposures to capture flowing traffic or running water are now possible without a tripod.

Precision Without Compromise

Each X2D II 100C undergoes an individual 2-hour calibration using Hasselblad's most stringent protocols. Our engineers applied Hasselblad's highest internal standards, achieving 0.1-pixel control precision through pixel-level calibration. The system employs high-precision gyroscopes and accelerometers, detecting movements as fine as 0.001 degrees.

Phocus Mobile 2

Edit RAW HDR images directly on your iPhone or iPad—adjust exposure, reduce noise with Hasselblad Natural Noise Reduction (HNNR), and showcase them with the signature Hasselblad natural colour. Even when the camera is powered off, you can wake it up remotely with the app and wirelessly transfer images at speeds up to 40MB/s.

1TB Internal SSD Storage

With 1TB of built-in SSD storage, X2D II 100C holds over 50,000 HEIF images—eliminating the anxiety of running out of space mid-shoot. Write speeds of up to 2,370MB/s and read speeds of up to 2,850MB/s ensure the camera keeps pace with your creativity. When additional storage is needed, the CFexpress Type B slot stands ready.
